Clinical Director of Child and Adolescent Programs, OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center

Talya Block, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep-rooted passion for supporting children and families through life’s most challenging moments. She currently serves as the Clinical Director of the Children’s Program at OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center, where she oversees grief support services across the Family Support Program, Camp Erin Los Angeles, and the School-Based Grief Support Program.
Talya brings a background in pediatric medical social work, having previously worked at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program, where she provided psychosocial support to children and families facing complex, life-threatening illnesses and end of life care.
In addition to her leadership at OUR HOUSE, Talya is the founder of NextGen Therapy Group, a private practice where she provides compassionate, individualized care to children, teens, and adults navigating grief, trauma, and life transitions.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience, as well as a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan - Go Blue!
