About the Event
Join us on November 14, 2025, for The Help Group’s 29th Annual Summit, bringing together leading experts in neurodiversity to share applied research, evidence-based best practices, and innovative approaches in early intervention, education, transitions to greater independence, and social and emotional well-being and mental health. This one-day event will take place at The Skirball Center in Los Angeles and will offer an enriching environment for interactive learning and collaborative experiences.
Featuring a lineup of distinguished speakers, the Summit brings together clinicians, therapists, educators, researchers, parents and caregivers to explore the latest advances in understanding and supporting social and emotional well-being and neurodivergence from childhood to adulthood.
Attendees will gain valuable insights and practical strategies for supporting individuals with cognitive, social-emotional, behavioral, and learning differences, including autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, and emotional challenges.
Offering continuing education, professional development, and networking opportunities, participants will have access to a wealth of resources, time to engage with experts and each other, and the opportunity to develop a deeper knowledge base to apply at home, in schools, clinics, or communities. Attendees will leave with a renewed sense of purpose and motivation.
About the help group
Founded in 1941, The Help Group (THG) is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit that has supported individuals and families across the lifespan for more than 80 years. We serve both neurodivergent and neurotypical children, teens, and adults with autism, learning differences, ADHD, developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and emotional struggles.
Our mission is to help individuals and families build resilience, create hope, and unlock their limitless potential. Guided by expertise and a deep respect for every person’s journey, we have developed a connected network of programs that meet people where they are—academically, emotionally, socially, and developmentally—providing compassionate, personalized support.
Today, THG is recognized as one of the nation’s most comprehensive organizations dedicated to education, mental health, and developmental services. Our work spans six key areas:
- Specialized Schools
- Therapy and Support Services
- Arts and Recreation Programs
- Vocational Training and Employment Services
- Residential Living
- Knowledge Exchange and Professional/Parent Education
Through this whole-person model of care, we foster growth, belonging, and meaningful, independent lives.
